Abandoned Puppy Rejected To Leave The Plum Box They Found Him In

Workplaces found an underweight, abandoned pit bull puppy snuggled in a plum box. They were able to bring him to safety, but the little puppy refused to leave the box.

The puppy seemed to find comfort and safety in his box, perhaps even a feeling of belonging or home. A photo of the little pup curled up in his box on his first day at the shelter was shared on his official Instagram page, @plumpelstiltskin_.

Plum was taken in by the Life Line Animal Project, where the team worked on gaining the little pup’s trust. After some time, Plum began to trust the people helping him and gained a sense of comfort and security. He finally got out of his box and checked out his surroundings!

Speaking with The Dodo, a worker from Life Line Animal Project said that Plum rapidly bonded with the employees at the company, and they decided to start his Instagram page. After posting for just a month, they found a potential adopter!

There was only one problem, and that was that the adopter had one more dog, and Plum didn’t always do well with other dogs. However, after taking Plum to meet the other dog, it looked like the perfect fit. That meant Plum had found his forever home!

They shared the news on Instagram, saying, “I’M ADOPTED! Thanks to all my friends that assisted me in the process and stay tuned for updates from me in my fantastic new life!”

Plum continued to grow, put on some healthy weight, and began thriving with his forever family.

Soldier’s Service Dog Joyfully Reunited With The Inmate Who Trained Him

47-year-old veteran Sgt. Bill Campbell suffers from PTSD, memory loss, and has a major fear of crowds. But when he received Pax as his service dog, his whole life changed.

Being in the military takes a lot of strength, bravery and true grit. Some soldiers are away from their loved ones for months and sometimes even years at a time; When they finally return home, some suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) which affects their daily life.

There are many different ways to cope with PTSD. Some people take medications, others go to therapy, but one special way to cope is with the help of a service dog

Service dogs, like this Yellow Labrador named Pax, help people with PTSD get through life one day at a time. They are there as a support system and to help these people feel whole again.

47-year-old veteran Sgt. Bill Campbell suffers from PTSD, memory loss, and has a major fear of crowds. But when he received Pax as his service dog, his whole life changed. Having a dog by his side has helped him cope with the horrible effects of war and has made his day-to-day life bearable again. The two of them share a very special bond that Bill is forever grateful for.

If it weren’t for Pax’s trainer, Bill might not be where he is today, so he wanted to find her and thank her personally. Pax’s trainer was a woman named Laurie Kellog. Bill learned that Pax lived at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility where he was looked after by dozens of female inmates and a part of the service dog training program that they had.

Laurie loved training Pax for PTSD because it hit really close to home for her. She, too, suffered from PTSD after years of domestic violence. Pax helped her live in the moment and not get caught up in the past; she felt safe around him. When Laurie found out Pax would be going to a soldier who also suffered from PTSD, she was beyond thrilled.

Bill traveled to meet Laurie so he could thank her in person for helping Pax become what he is today. Pax has changed both of their lives for the better, so it was a very special moment for the three of them to be together. It was obvious that Pax remembered Laurie; as soon as he saw her, he ran right up to her and gave her lots of kisses and tail wags!

Share this with your friends and family and give them something adorable to smile about today!

This “heartbroken” dog ran away from home everyday to visit his dead owner’s grave

Another confirmation that a dog is man’s best friend comes from Turkey.

One dog kept running away from the house, and no one knew where he was going. They soon found out that he was going to the grave of his deceased owner.

One day, Ismail Öztürk adopted a small puppy that had been abandoned. His new name was Zozo. The two became inseparable.

When Ismail passed away in 2014, his dog was inconsolable.

A few days later, the family realized that Zozo was often not at home. They didn’t know where the dog was going until one day.

Ismail’s son, Zafer, once came to visit the grave. Then he was surprised to see a dog on top of the grave.

Everything was clear to the family then. Zozo ran away from home to visit the owner’s grave.

Although he cannot speak, Zozo has shown with his actions how much Ismail meant to him and how much he misses him now. His love for his owner was obvious.
